How it works

From proposal to payout.

Three steps. No chasing. No surprises.

1

Proposal accepted

Your client agrees on scope and price inside the platform. That agreement is locked in — no emails lost, no scope creep later.

2

Client pays upfront

PayOdin sends the invoice in its own name. Your client pays the full amount before any work begins. You don't start until the money is secured.

3

You confirm delivery

Mark the work done when it's done. Your payout — invoice amount minus the fee — goes out within 5 business days by ACH or wire.

Why freelancers choose PayOdin

No company. No chasing payments.
No surprises.

No company needed

PayOdin is the registered US company on every invoice. Your client pays a US entity. You collect as an individual — no LLC, no VAT registration, no compliance maze.

Client pays before you start

The money is in PayOdin's account before a single hour of work begins. You're not finishing a project and then waiting on a client to pay — that risk is gone.

A real person reviews

Every proposal and invoice gets a human set of eyes before it reaches your client. Someone checks the details, catches errors, and signs off. Not a bot, not a queue.

Before you sign up

The questions you're probably asking.

Cold trust is earned with transparency. Here's what PayOdin actually is.

Is the fee always 4%?

Yes, 4% — with a $20 floor. If 4% of your invoice is less than $20 (invoices under $500), the minimum applies. Above $500, it's always 4%.

No subscription. No setup fee. No withdrawal fee. No fee on the client-facing invoice — the fee only appears on your payout statement. Your client sees the full invoice amount; you see the net.

When does the money actually arrive?

After two things happen: your client pays the invoice, and you confirm the work was delivered. Once both are done, payout goes out within 5 business days by ACH or wire transfer.

Your client pays upfront — PayOdin collects the full invoice amount before any work begins. You're not waiting on a client to pay after delivery.

Do I need a company to use PayOdin?

No. That's the point. PayOdin is the registered US company on every invoice. Your client pays a US entity. You get paid as an individual — no LLC, no VAT registration, no cross-border compliance headaches.

You work, we handle the invoice, your client pays us, we pay you. If you have a company already, that works too.

How does my client actually pay?

PayOdin sends your client a payment link. They pay by card or wire transfer — the same way they'd pay any vendor. They don't need a PayOdin account, and they don't need to interact with any platform beyond clicking the link and paying.

From your client's side, it looks like a standard invoice from a US company. That's because it is.

Can I use PayOdin from any country?

PayOdin is available to freelancers in most countries. The exceptions are jurisdictions under US sanctions — Russia, Iran, North Korea, Belarus, Cuba, and Syria cannot use the platform. This is a legal requirement, not a choice.

Your client can be based anywhere — PayOdin handles cross-border compliance on your behalf.

What if my client disputes the work after delivery?

Because your client paid upfront, the money is already held — it doesn't disappear because there's a disagreement. Disputes go through PayOdin's review process: we look at the proposal, the deliverables, and the communication, then make a determination.

You're not left chasing a client who's already walked away. The funds are secured from the start.

Your first invoice is one conversation away.
